En la parte superior izquierda numerada cada hoja del 1 al 8
Maury publicó seis tipos de cartas entre 1847 y 1860. La serie A eran las Track Charts en que se ilustraban las rutas navegadas por los buques mercantes y de la Armada. Cada ruta lleva el nombre del buque que hizo el viaje, el año y su duración. Se añadía información sobre la dirección de las corrientes y de los vientos de cada ruta
Inserta: leyenda y abundantes notas explicativas
Márgenes graduados. - Dibujados meridianos y paralelos formando cuadrícula. - Meridiano de origen: Greenwich. - Diferenciados los distintos tipos de vientos. - Las líneas coloreadas representan las distintas estaciones. - Señaladas rutas de los barcos
